CHUCK NORRIS: KARATE COMMANDOES, DEADLY DOLPHINS
Chuck Norris' animated nerves of steel pitted against a pod of deadly dolphins?! What a match up. If anyone has the rest of this cartoon out, please post a link in the comments. And what's up with the Cobra-esque Commander super ninja guy?! Apparently ninjas don't eat.

THE CROWN JEWEL OF TAX PROPAGANDA
One of the posts further down questions the political tenacity of the Disney of old vs the Disney of new. In that post, a thoughtful comment was made about Disney's active participation in using animation for programming of the masses. Donald Duck in the Spirit of '43 is apparently what initially got our grandparents all motivated to run out and pay their taxes in the first place. "Idle money" burning a hole in my pockets? Not paying taxes helps Hitler? The govt that made the money needs it back to buy more guns? I think Donald should have gone with his first instinct.
CHANNEL FREDERATOR, #84
Episode #84 from the cold metal robot that is ChannelFrederator.com. A lot more entertaining than the current episode, #85. The first one in this #84, Hot Cross Bunnies, is pretty good. If you need only a few more minutes of distraction then skip to the second short, The Stolen Minks music video of Boys on the Floor. The last one, Autumn, is good for napping to.

WHAT'S UP, TEDDY BEAR?
Speaking of Christmas, this short apparently comes from a French TV series called Lava-Lava! that was on for maybe one season in 1995. For whatever reason it just started going around online. Don't worry there's no one actually speaking French in this one.

NED NOODLEBODY
Here's a buzz worthy piece from Kurt Nielsen that we met at a recent Six Point Harness Flash animation workshop. It's a gritty piece harkening back to the UPA style and the pro wrestlers of yesteryear. Several of whom contributed their voices to the piece.

COMMY ANIMATED PROPAGANDA
Here's a couple minute run-down of some animated propaganda films found on Liveleak.com out of communist Russia. Neato.
LiveLeak.com - "From 1924 to perestroika the USSR produced more than 4 dozen animated propaganda films. They weren't for export. Their target was the new nation and their goal was to win over the hearts and minds of the Soviet people. Anti American, Anti Capitalist, Anti Fascist, some of these films are as artistically beautiful as the great political posters made after the 1917 revolution. A unique series. With a unique perspective. Includes commentary by a leading Soviet film scholar."
